I can't say thank you adequately with human words for all you have done and do for my mom! She had hoped there could be care like yours, and you are an answer to her prayers-- and mine! Mom is very happy and feels she is very well taken care of. As former caregivers we know what excellent care looks like, and you give it!

Thank you for being burden lifters! Love in Christ,

She looks so happy now. I haven't heard mom sing like this for years.

I just got your phone message re: mom.  Thank you for the call!  I so appreciate how on top of mom's medical care you both are.  (by e-mail)

=============================

Thank you all for your wonderful support for our sweet mother while she was in your care!  She did love you all and trusted you implicitly.  Believe me, this is not the easiest feat to accomplish!  ;-)  It meant a lot to all of us to have her there where she was safe and taken care of as if she were your own mother or grandmother!

I am at home now

Thanks to the support and encouragement of you and your staff I am in my own home and mostly self-sufficient.  I only need help with a few things and expect to do those myself in the near future.

When I arrived at your home I never really wanted or expected to do anything by myself again, including walking. The warmth, friendliness, and home like atmosphere of Hospitality House made the difference....thanks for being there.

Hi Mel!  I just threw my tissue in the garbage!  Thanks for helping Mom with that E mail!  It was so wonderful to get that from her!

A letter from one family member

Words cannot express the gratefulness that we feel with you accepting Dad in
to your home. There has been a tremendous change in him physically,
emotionally, and spiritually, and we so appreciate the care and attention
that you, Cheryl, Allison, and others give to him. Sometimes I can't
believe how the Lord has answered our prayer (and continues to) for dad's
later years of his life. To tell the truth, I wasn't really expecting an
answer ("oh ye of little faith!"). He gave more than we could ask or think!
You treat him with respect, and let him have his dignity.
Even the little things, like seeing his beautiful white hair washed and
combed nicely (in other words, not unkempt, greasy, & yellow!) shows how you
care for him and he also feels better about himself. The softness and
better color in his face tells a lot too. His smile he has when he sees
Melissa & when she talks to him, his talking about the pictures on his
walls, the scenery, the flowers on his deck, and even receiving emails
instantly from that hard to understand crazy technology of the computer
world!! And to think that Dad gets to live with a Christian family that
prays and upholds Christian values, with understanding and consideration of
Dad's spiritual walk with the Lord, even on days when he is very fatigued
and less patient!
My sister and I both cried when we heard about Dad waking up that
first morning and saying out loud, "Thank You Jesus! Praise the Lord!" I
was very touched! The timing of the Lord still astounds me!
So thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing Dad to live in your
home, for making an exception for a "man", and for being chosen among many
applicants who would also have loved to have been under your care.
Thank you Jesus!
And Thank you Franks!
